religion

What it says on the tin.

If you do not believe in religious freedom and free speech and want to take it away in the US, then MOVE OUT OF THE COUNTRY. THEN YOU DO NOT BELONG HERE. Movie to Somalia or ISIS controlled territory, or North Korea. Either change your mind on this issue or GET OUT.

Dakota, Servant of Justice,

Freedom of religion and speech may ultimately be at stake if we do not purge out politicians and other elites with a mindset that it is good or ok to traffic, abuse, and murder children. From what I understand their belief systems say it is ok or even necessary to persecute people who disagree with their beliefs, if they ever obtain full control. That good people in the US have NOT been thrown into camps is proof that these people only have partial control of some things right now, and also proof of God's protection.

Dana, Farmer of the Rich,

"Murder children"? That is rich. Should I say we need to purge the politicians that are trying to create a theocracy and establish the Christian equivalent of "Sharia law"? Both sides can exaggerate also. Are you going to outlaw male masturbation and menstruation because it murders children??

Purging congress is stifling free speech. You only want Christian speech.

Who in congress is guilty of child abuse and trafficking? You are making shit up.

Christians are more likely to abuse children. "Spare the ROD and spoil the child?" Besides Christians fill their children's heads full of lies.

Let me ask you. Do you believe in reason? Do you believe in facts? Or do you think the world is only 6000 years old?

Dakota, Servant of Justice,

Well we do need to not let politicians like Rick Santorum or Ted Cruz get into office, some people suspect they are pretending to be Christians and secret Illuminati, or they may be actual Christians and Illuminati and use twisted logic to defend why they are part of it. That does not change the fact that all politicians trafficking children should be rounded up and put on trial, regardless of party or stated beliefs. Masturbation does not murder children, that theory is based on ancient misunderstandings of what sperm is and what it does. Menstruation is natural and should not be outlawed. Every surgical abortion however entails the ripping apart of formed bodies if fetuses that look like little humans. Either ripping limb from limb, or burning with saline. Purging of those involved in child trafficking could very well save free speech. The Illuminati that is the top of the chain in human trafficking wants to take away free speech once they have full power.

Outlaw masturbation? I can make a biblical case that secular prostitution is not a sin most of the time. I would outlaw prostitution in connection with human trafficking, children, or drug abuse, abusive pimps, but that is it.

Dakota, Servant of Justice,

You make so many assumptions about what I want. There has been leaked information indicating a wide network of elites involved in child trafficking. The Dr. Phil show is very reputable. Anyone brought to court will have the evidence examined. Christians who abuse children deserve a day in court as well. Whether one is a fake Christian and abused children, or a true Christian and sinning with child abuse they deserve their day in court. Purging elites guilty of serious crimes will help free speech. They were on the verge of taking it away from us, but recent events from last November put a stop to that. I am not sure of the age of the earth. I now believe in a gap theory. When Gen says the earth was void, in Hebrew it seems to mean chaos or destruction needing to be restored.

Dakota, Servant of Justice,

A while ago I saw an episode of Dr. Phil where this woman was a survivor of having been sexually trafficked as a little girl. She said sometimes they murder the children after a few years. She said that she was "passed around" to senators and congressmen. From what I understand BOTH parties are involved. I think that there may be a purge coming under our current leadership. When you begin to see congressmen, senators, and judges being rounded up, put on trial, and thrown into prison, fear not, it is not a parallel of some third world dictator rounding up politicians for dishonest reason, but in our case it will be an outward manifestation of God's justice in the physical realm.

It matters not if some conservative Christian republicans get rounded up in this. If they were involved in the child trafficking they were only pretending to be Christians. Do not feel sorry for them. Do pray only the truly guilty are convicted and get thrown into prison or even executed if necessary. Other than that, do not feel sorry for any of them. Pray that they trust Christ for the sakes of their souls.

Dana, Farmer of the Rich,

Anyone caught trafficking children should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Finally something we both agree on, but what does that have to do with Christianity?

Dana, Sommelier of Time,

Christianity is supposed to be about loving other people. I realize you don't have to be Christian to love others, but a key tenet of TRUE CHRISTIANITY is to love other people. It is love to protect and rescue children from being trafficked, so protecting and rescuing children has EVERYTHING to do with TRUE Christianity as taught in the New Testament.

Dakota, Servant of Justice,

Doing justice to people trafficking children is biblical.

Dakota, Servant of Justice,

The bible teaches the government should prosecute people for crimes, especially serious ones.

Peyton, Garçon of the Wildlands,

Does this mean that Fox News is moving to Somalia?

Ash, Hunter of the Idealistic,

It means the Republican party is moving to Somalia.

Dana, Sommelier of Time,

Just as well, many in the Republican party pretend to want to do good things, then do the opposite. Some are involved in secret evil, and it will be exposed. Some might be going to prison due the tone set by our current leadership.

Dakota, Servant of Justice,

I am not replying to my post as if I am a different person, the site randomly assigns different and very creative names to people as they post.

Aubrey, Illusionist of the Homeless,

No, you are always Dakota, Servant of Justice on this page and I am always Aubrey, Illusionist of the Homeless.

Dakota, Servant of Justice,

Souls returning to God after death being murder? Huh? What do you even mean by that? That does not mean a person is absorbed into God and loses consciousness. The full context of what the bible says people having consciousness after death contradicts that. Again context is everything with the bible.

Dakota, Servant of Justice,

Well someone commented and called God a murderer because the soul returns to God at death. I thought they were saying that because they interpreted (wrongly) that mean the soul is absorbed into God and loses individual consciousness. (Not what the bible means when it says (the soul returns God).

Ash, Hunter of the Idealistic,

What are you talking about?

Aubrey, Illusionist of the Homeless,

The Bible is a bit out of date, don't you think?

Dana, Farmer of the Rich,

You are joking, right?

Peyton, Garçon of the Wildlands,

It's a joke.

Dakota, Servant of Justice,

God doesn't send people to hell. We deserve it because we are in a state of sin. God provided Christ as a way out. If we don't take him by default we choose hell. Some early church leaders, and a few now, DO believe some people may be able to repent in hell and get out. I lean this way sometimes. I am considering the possibility that only those who completely blaspheme the Holy Spirit if they fully know what they are doing, are the ones who will spend eternity in hell. A loving God had Christ to suffer on the cross to keep us out of hell. If there were no cross or Christ in history, then all would go to hell forever. Our fallen nature makes us deserve hell. Christ is the way to be justified and forgiven, all sin covered. There was a case of an atheist who died in a hospital, went to a dark place being tormented by demons posing as nurses. He started to pray and called out to Jesus to save him. He shot up to heaven. He was given a choice to stay or return. He chose to return. He was shot back into his body, and after being clinically dead for close to 30 minutes. He was wheeled into surgery after he came back, and is now a minister.

Ash, Hunter of the Idealistic,

No one deserves hell. Have you no compassion?

Adolph Hitler and Joseph Stalin maybe. But no one else deserves eternal torment. That is just sick.

Dakota, Servant of Justice,

Sin causes EVERYONE to deserve eternal torment. That doesn't mean we will GET it, it means we DESERVE it. Not everyone is as bad as Hitler, Stalin etc...but God's standard to get into heaven is to be 100 percent sinless. No one is. By faith in Christ for eternal life we can be COUNTED as 100 percent sinless. If we go to God trying to earn our way into heaven He will say not quite good enough. Some near death experiences are questionable, but when someone is out for a half hour or more, they are dead.

Dana, Farmer of the Rich,

I am quite tired of the sin bullshit. It is a lie that Christians tell themselves to SUBJUGATE themselves to a 2000 year old belief system. It is a cult and you willingly drink the Kool-Ade.

Aubrey, Illusionist of the Homeless,

God created the rules, he created everything. He is ultimately responsible. Why should an all-powerful, omnipresent, all-knowing supernatural being care if we believe in him? To send someone to hell for not believing in you doesn't make sense.

Near death experiences are caused by a lack of oxygen reaching the brain.

Peyton, Garçon of the Wildlands,

Actually you are wrong. Near death experiences are caused by the locus coeruleus releasing too much noradrenaline.

Dakota, Servant of Justice,

The bible doesn't contradict itself. It only seems so because sometimes translators don't do a perfect job going from Greek and Hebrew to English. Also if you take verses out of qualifying contexts you do get contradictions. If you read entire passages in context contradictions disappear, and also consider original Greek and Hebrew with more tricky passages.

Ash, Hunter of the Idealistic,

On the one hand, it says, Exodus 20:15 "Thou shalt not steal." Leviticus 19:13 "Thou shalt not defraud thy neighbor, neither rob him." On the other hand, it says

Exodus 3:22 "And ye shall spoil the Egyptians." Exodus 12:35-36 "And they spoiled [plundered, NRSV] the Egyptians." Luke 19:29-34 "[Jesus] sent two of his disciples, Saying, Go ye into the village . . . ye shall find a colt tied, whereon yet never man sat: loose him, and bring him hither. And if any man ask you, Why do ye loose him? thus shall ye say unto him, Because the Lord hath need of him. . . . And as they were loosing the colt, the owners thereof said unto them, Why loose ye the colt? And they said, The Lord hath need of him."

Aubrey, Illusionist of the Homeless,

Sounds slippery to me. If I point out a contradiction, all you have to do is say, "I took it out of context". That doesn't get us any where does it? Should I set some ground rules to give me an advantage as well?

Dakota, Servant of Justice,

I believe the Lord borrowed the colt, He didn't keep it. Besides the colt owners with have known who the Lord was when the disciples mentioned He needed it, and allowed the borrowing of it. The case of the Egyptians and spoiling has EVERYTHING to do with context, we may normally think of the world spoiling as taking without permission, but in Exodus that word is used in a wider context and reading the whole passage bears that out.

Dana, Farmer of the Rich,

You will justify any evil if your precious God does it. The OT God is an evil, nasty deity and you worship him. It is disgusting. Hardening Pharaoh's heart? So much for free will.

Dakota, Servant of Justice,

Spoiling is not defrauding. The Egyptians gave the Israelites all kinds of stuff just to say "go go go get out of here" because of the plagues.

Dana, Farmer of the Rich,

Kill the firstborn? It's OK because "God" did it. I guess you sanction the murder of doctors who perform abortions. "God" says it's OK?

Dakota, Servant of Justice,

The reason why so many Christians are hypocrites is twofold. First of all, I do believe the bible teaches the forgiveness of sins by grace alone by faith in Christ for eternal life. That means for a saved person they need to work at spiritual growth, it isn't automatic. There is a false teaching of Lordship salvation where people think that once saved, the Lord will automatically make the person grow and become outwardly righteous in behavior. This is not true. A Christian receives the indwelling Holy Spirit to prompt a person to grow spiritually, but they still have the free will to resist these promptings. God may then discipline a believer, gently at first, then turning up the pressure..but many may still try to resist. The other part is that many call themselves Christians who are not at all, and are just outwardly practicing a form of the Christian religion and do not have the indwelling Holy Spirit and their religion gives them a false sense of security. Their sins remain unforgiven. Part of my calling in life right now is to debunk this Lordship salvation nonsense. When the bible says we are to be justified by grace, it means what it says. It even says that if it is by works, then either grace is no longer grace or work is no longer work. It spells things out in pretty good detail to attempt to make sure there is no misunderstanding, but people need to read their bibles more contextually instead of cherry-picking verses. So much error happens from taking bible verses out of context.

Dana, Farmer of the Rich,

I don't know about you, but any "God" who would "test" someone by asking them to kill their son is evil.

Aubrey, Illusionist of the Homeless,

Ah yes, I am all-knowing, but I must test you anyway and by the most abusive way possible.

Dakota, Servant of Justice,

Well that may true that some Christians may want religious freedom only for themselves. They are wrong when speaking of the political realm. Many Christians DO believe in religious freedom for everyone. I am against religious freedom only in extreme cases such as human sacrifice or doing criminal acts in the name of religion. Someone who sets a bomb off in the name of Allah deserves to be thrown into prison if he survives. Otherwise I my belief in religious freedom is extreme. In regards to truth it doesn't mean I agree with everyone, and contradiction beliefs CANNOT be all true at the same time, but the government should allow freedom and people to debate religious ideas free of government interference. Also for my own beliefs I consider that different religions may have parts of the truth, and be partly wrong. As a Christian I am disappointed in what many current modern churches are doing and believe that most of them have some repenting to do. This should not sound weird to anyone who knows the bible, the Apostles spent a lot of time in the New Testament writings attempting to correct problems and errors in churches even in their day, even churches that THEY founded.

Dana, Farmer of the Rich,

When has the government interfered? When Christians discriminate against what people do in their bedrooms? It sounds like Christian overreach to me. It's NOT your business what anyone does in their bedroom. Christians are NOT content to live and let live. They want to regulate the sexual habits of two consensual adults.

Then you vote the most immoral man possible to be president. It is clear that Christians will tolerate tons of sin to further their cause. Well your pussy-grabbing Fuhrer is getting impeached, you hypocrite.

Dakota, Servant of Justice,

Well I don't agree with many Christians who want to legislate sexuality, other than things like rape, abuse of children, it is not the government's business. I am not even against prostitution except for human trafficking and involving children, or when it involves the woman using the money to shoot a needle up her arm. It should specifically be illegal to be a prostitute to support a drug habit. You complain about a lot of modern Christians trying to legislate what people do. This would go back to the concept of needing to correct errors in the churches.

Regarding freedom of speech, some on college campuses are now moving to ban speech that offends anyone. Some ultra-liberals do want to rewrite the Constitution so that speech they don't like is banned or regulated. Liberalism was founded on free speech, so these people are hypocrites. Then YOU would risk arrest for YOUR opinions. The move towards such a system is now being reversed in the US and overseas too. Macron declared himself a Roman god like a nut...he is a little antichrist. Macron is an area of success for globalist elites.

That video on Trump was taken out of context. He was joking. Billy Bush was trying to egg him on with jokes to set him up. The elites desperately wanted Hillary or Jeb in office to further their plans for global domination. Then free speech or religion would be suspended.

Jerry, Clerk of the Forgotten Lands,

You said, "contradiction beliefs CANNOT be all true at the same time". Because of the manifold contradictions in the Bible, it cannot be true. I am just taking your words to their logical extreme.

Frankie, Gunner of the Lonely,

There are a lot of Christians that only religious freedom for themselves. They don't want religious freedom for Muslims, Mormons, Buddhists, Hindus, Jehovah's Witnesses, Jains, Catholics, Taoists, Sikhs, Shintoists, Native Americans, etc.

Dakota, Servant of Justice,

By the way, that God doesn't kill everyone instantly and send us all to hell is because of His mercy, either because people have faith in Christ or waiting for them to do so. Faith in Christ regarding being forgiven is in terms of trusting Him or believing in Him for eternal life, not just some vague beliefs about Christ. You talk of God being evil if He brings an infant home to Himself, but if it were not for God's mercy and grace the entire human race other than infants and children would deserve to instantly die and go to an eternal hell.

Jerry, Clerk of the Forgotten Lands,

If souls return to God upon death, then by that logic murder must be a good thing.

Dakota, Servant of Justice,

Where are souls suppose to go at death, the moon? Or would you rather enjoy the unfiltered presence and power of God for eternity.

Dakota, Servant of Justice,

That makes no sense. What kind of logic is that?

Frankie, Gunner of the Lonely,

Why would a loving God send someone to hell?

Dana, Farmer of the Rich,

He wouldn't. This is another Christian lie.

Dana, Farmer of the Rich,

God is the creator. Without him, there wouldn't be anything.

Dana, Farmer of the Rich,

God created everything including free will. Being omniscient he knew that humans would choose evil. God gave mankind free will anyway know what would happen. THEREFORE It is God's responsibility. Any God knowingly creating evil is in fact evil. You worship a demon.

Dakota, Servant of Justice,

That statement is an assumption on your part. God also sent Christ to redeem the world, even the universe to eventually overcome all evil by the end of the age. A demon, demons are not even really fallen angels, they are lower level creatures, spirits of dead Nephilim and giants like Goliath. You insult even a fallen angel by calling it a demon, much less God Himself. God is humble, Christ as a lowly and humble person on earth willingly humbled Himself for our sakes, but calling God a demon is just an insult to Him and His majesty.

Aubrey, Illusionist of the Homeless,

Oh no! Now you are telling me there are demons. What century is this?

God is NOT humble if he sends people to hell for just NOT believing in him. That is narcissism.

Dakota, Servant of Justice,

oops should say "on trucks"

Dakota, Servant of Justice,

That people are hypocrites and won't work to improve life, it doesn't mean we should then therefore kill people. By your logic let's set up machine guns on truck and drive into cities, and just fire away. If some are hypocrites, then YOU work to improve life and work with people you know, and then set an example for them, and if they won't follow a good example, let them look like fools.

Dana, Farmer of the Rich,

Are you trying to respond to your own post as if you are a different person? That just makes you look silly.

Dana, Farmer of the Rich,

The hypocrisy of this country is one of the reasons I've given up on life. Life sucks, but everyone gets bent out of shape when you talk about ending it. None of these"pro-lifers" do anything to improve the quality of life. Everything is a sham.
