ok the first thing I would loose on that list is doing the ironing/pressing unless it's work clothes or a special occaision. The rest can just come out of the tumble dryer and be hung up, trust me no-one will notice!
If you have a partner around then it is time to agree that you get to do something for yourself, once a week, once every two weeks or even just once a month.
If money is tight then don't try and do something which costs, just go out for a walk. Even that will help.
How old are your children? Could they take on things like being responsible for the dishwasher?
My daughter is four and a half and she is responsible for keeping the shoe rack tidy, tidying her room and putting her dirty washing in the hamper. This is my way of slowly introducing her to tasks around the house.

I am luck in that my 18 month old is very happy to get on and do his own thing, unlike his older sister.
When she was younger I would be trying to get everything done with her following me around like a shadow....it was hard! She is better now she is older but if I try and sit down for five minutes then she starts bugging me. I also with the younger one still get leg clinging while I am trying to cook dinner.
I definitely needed to let my standards slip somewhat but thats ok as my husband does not mind. I get the feeling yours might.
Try and enjoy them as they grow quickly, but ultimatly they probably won't suffer from being taught to make their own entertainment.
