    You can love God because He first loves you.  Thats how it happens.  You just open your heart to accept Jesus and His love.  When you experience His love, then you will love back.  His love always comes first.  As for trusting Him, just pray.  Ask Him to help you trust Him and ask Him to come into your heart.  He is already seeking you, thats why your having these thoughts and feelings.
