Ever since I've entered middle school, one question has been on my mind day in and day out: "The hell is up with the kids here?" When someone thinks of an average American school (or any school for that matter) there is always the typical stereotypes of 'the Jocks', 'the Nerds', 'the Popular kids', etc etc. They're like little tribes that are made up through out the student body. Now, does it not piss you off that you don't really pick one on your own; you're just stamped at birth. If you're skinny with money, you go to 'the Popular kids'. If you've got a good arm and are really good at a sport, you get placed in 'the Jocks'. Etc. Etc. I mean, what's wrong with people? Has texting and modern technology ruined people's minds?!
I'd like to know where these social standings come from and what they mean. I've conducted several experiments through out my middle school years and have come to the conclusion that it matters what you are on the outside. Yes, America, this is what it means. It may only happen in movies is what you think. It normally does. But from those movies, sparks ideas in its watchers. That they wanna be like this character, or that character. It sickens me that people can't just have their own *od damn personalities. WAKE UP!

agreed muchly. people seem so cliquey and bitchey. it's like, be nice to everyone, be you. cause in the end why be 2nd best at being someone else when you can be first at being yourself?
