Dr. Kimball is a very considerate person/teacher. Therefore, when need be, just ask him. If not, you only cost yourself; then it is your lost. However, Dr. Kimball did give us one test that does not allow us to put the in-between-steps. Sometime before the day of your ...
... first test, you must please Dr. Kimball to allow you to put the in-between-steps on each of his tests. Else, he will only consider the correct final answers and you will have lots of points taken off of your test or tests. Further, I always made stupid mistakes on Dr. Kimball's tests and caused myself one letter grade. ...
... Therefore, I requested Dr. Kimball to put one or more bonus problems on the fifth test and the final; so he did put one on the final. Yet, he (then) put a never-before-seen problem (integrate the definite integral (5 ^t) from 0 to 1) on the final (to compensate for that bonus problem, I think).
There are five tests (500 pts), a homework grade (100 pts) and a final exam (200 pts); that makes it 800 pts totals. If you need to have A in Dr. Kimball's class, ...
... you have to work hard to do well on all of his tests by studying all your in-class notes, homework problems, and suggested problems. If you procrastinate and mess up on any of his tests, your grade will decrease by one letter grade. Do not be fool in thinking your homework grade will help your overall grade, [(your points,>800)/800].
Dr. Kimball is very nice about responding to students' doubts. He is a very good, caring teacher. However, if you do not stop Dr. Kimball to let him know what you do not understand, ...
Dr. Kimball will move on (and forgets about you) and will not give you all the tools that you need to solve the math problems. Again, you must speak up on what you do not understand, including about the homework problems. Else, Dr. Kimball will move on and you will stay lost.
Your homework grade (which includes your quiz grades, hand-in homework and WileyPlus) will hurt your grade, if you did bad on it. Else, if you scored 100 out of 100 on your homework grade, something like [(your score)/(something like 287 as possible)], your homework grade can only help/increase your grade by two percents, [(your points,>800)/800].
Also, Dr. Kimball tends to procrastinate. You must say something or email a notification to him to remind him. Else, Dr. Kimball will procrastinate and forget (not get it done). For instance, we should have emailed Dr. Kimball early enough (as soon as we realize Dr. Kimball is late than usual about posting WileyPlus homework, for the last test) to remind him to post WileyPlus. Since we did not email Dr. Kimball, he did not finish posting WileyPlus homework for the last test study materials. He said he just really forgot about posting WileyPlus for the last test.
However, Dr. Kimball did a good job on grading anything. Therefore, do not bother Dr. Kimball about returning the graded materials; Dr. Kimball always knows when to give back the graded materials. Therefore, all students must give Dr. Kimball freedom about the timing on grading materials.
For the final, know how to integrate 5^x as below.
∫ 3 ^x dx
= ∫ [e ^ ln(3^ x)] dx because e ^ ln(3^x)=3^x, properties of logarithmic functions;
= ∫ [e ^ (xln3)] dx because ln(3^x)=xln3, properties of logarithmic functions
= [e ^ (xln3)] / ln3 + C (because let u=xln3 and du=ln3dx => [1/(ln3)]du=dx
then ∫ [e ^ (xln3)] dx=∫[e ^ (u)]*([1/(ln3)] du)=1/(ln3)∫[e ^ (u)]du)
= (3 ^ x) / ln3 + C because e ^ (xln3)=e ^ln(3^x)=3^x, properties of logarithmic functions
Above is from website http://au.answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20090906043518AAepGzc.
Further, notice 3^x=e^[ln(3^x)]=e^[xln3] and (3^x)'=d[3^x]/dx.
d[3^x]/dx=d[e ^ (xln3)]/dx=[3^x]ln3 because let u=xln3 and u'= ln3;
d[3^x]/dx=d[e ^ (xln3)]/dx=[e ^u]u'=[3^x]ln3.

Further, I did try to make castile liquid soap for two days. It was a waste of time for me, because my crock pot (from Wal-Mart) did not give out enough heat. Now, I no longer need to make castile liquid soap, because I found some better techniques.
Before I wet my hair, I apply rice flour (from the oriental store) dry shampoo thoroughly into my hair and scalp, like in video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ayJnSgvmtGQ. Thereafter, I shower my hair thoroughly with water. I then find my scalp and hair are clean and refreshing. Next, I tie my hair up and use baking soda powder as body wash.

At first, before I wet my hair, I apply rice flour (from the oriental store) dry shampoo thoroughly into my hair and scalp, like in video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ayJnSgvmtGQ. Thereafter, I shower my hair thoroughly with water. However, now, I have been pouring rice flour--from the oriental store, S&P (near Baskin Robin in Lafayette on Johnston street), for $0.99 per bag--into 2/10 of a squirt bottle (from Wal-mart for $0.99 each, right in the place where they sell cooking utensils); thereafter, I pour water into 7/10 of that squirt bottle. Then I cap it and shake it until the water and flour are well mixed into each other, where I no longer can see any lump of rice flour at the bottom of that squirt bottle. Before showering, I always prepare two squirt bottles (like that) in that manner, so that I can have one bottle like that for my hair and the other bottle like that as liquid body wash for my body. Trust me. It does work. This white, milky rice flour milk does clean and remove oil out of our hair and body--without completely stripping all our natural body oil out of our hair and body--leaving us feeling clean and free from using toxic chemical to wash ourselves. Remember to close our eyes. If not, this white, milky rice flour milk will get into our eyes. Since this white, milky rice flour milk is nontoxic, it cannot harm us.
