today i realized that the only reason i have an obsession with losing weight is because i want to be found attractive by men. that is so sad. i have a quiet obsession with the way i look. i'm constantly complaining (to myself, in my head) that i'm too big mostly, but also that my teeth aren't white or straight enough, that my face is out of proportion, my body is out of proportion, my feet are ugly my legs are ugly, my back is ugly.
i know i'm making most of this up. i'm just really paranoid or something i guess. when i'm not comparing myself to anything i feel beautiful and confident and it makes me feel bad that the media is only showing super skinny beautiful women in healthy happy relationships.
i know the media is being aplauded when ever somone shows a "plus sized model" in a magazine or catalogue or movie or comercial or show or what ever! but these "plus sized" women are barely bigger than the skinny freak models, these amazing revolutionairy realistic models that are "plus sized" are skinny as hell and only bearly seem human. and we all know that's not natural.
if we made an effort to include REAL plus sized women in all aspects of media, without making a huge thing of it as if it's some unheard of amzing honorable risky thing to do because NOBODY LIKES A FAT GIRL, then we would all feel better. women are an emportant part of everybody's lives. even the plants and animals. men especialy. if were so unhappy or put much strain to be truely happy, then the rest of the things in our lives will take notice and be affected.
why do make things so hard for everybody, Media?

Because it's make them money and their market research has told them that things sell better if they are presented by picture perfect people.
Also read up on airbrushing, we will never be as perfect, no matter how hard we tried, as an airbrushed model.
Start reading the blog called Jezebel, "stop reading beauty magazines, they will only make you feel ugly!"....
