If you are thinking of patronizing this business you might want to think again.

 

The owner, Julie Carney (the "J" of RJR Real Estate Inc.) who believes that all vendors are "raping us" with their prices and thier product orders as well as the "manager" Chuck Christensen (also formerly of RJR as a "Financial Advisor/Mortgage Broker") who began work at Crazy Bob's due to, as Julie said it, - "He is loosing his ass.  He cant even pay the rent on his office to me and is behind in his mortgage, he is losing his house, so he can work here and I will take half his check to pay off his debt to me", - they don't pay their bills.  

 

They believe that if they don't think they owe a bill they shouldn't pay it.  Like their ongoing fight with Pacific Pride located on their property whom Julie has shut off their power, blockaded entrance to their pumps and keeps them in a continuing legal battle because she feels the old rental agreement doesn't pay her enough anymore.  

 

They don't pay payroll taxes (all employees are paid at least in part if not in whole "under the table" because the state is "raping us on taxes")

 

They don't pay their employees. A recently discharged employee is still owed almost $500 since April of this year for services rendered, for benefits an compensation and, until recently for hours taken off of salary because the owner and manager did not do their bookkeeping right.  

 

The owner and manager of Crazy Bob's LLC also still have not paid for their website even though it has almost over a year since it's inception and as a result the site has been taken down by the hosting providers.

 

Why has this blog post been done.  Partly due to the lack of payment for the website and to their old employees, something I think is autrocious, things that a business should NEVER do, but also to alert the public that monies spent at this business will be going into the pockets of unscrupulous persons and we felt it our moral obligation to warn you.  

 

Oh, and if you want a laugh.  Go in and talk with Chuck about wine.  He will assure you that ALL wine, whites, sparkling, blushes and especially reds need to be refrigerated to at least 40 degrees.  Wine makers lie to you about temps and that red wine drank at higher than refrigerated temp is not good for the wine or for you.  He will also tell you how Merlot is the wine that wine makers make from the scraps of all the other red wines grapes that are left over.  They just scoop up all the leftover grapes from the Chards, the Zins, the Syrahs and more, put them in a barrel for a second round and label it Merlot.

 

Funny stuff there. 

 

By all means patronize this business if you choose, there are many better pizza places and gas stations to spend your hard earned money at, but Crazy Bob's will gladly keep accepting it from you.  There is another Crazy Bob's located next to the Olive Garden closer to Bellingham on the guide who is not affiliated with this Crazy Bob's.  Same Pizza, Same Subs, Just done better by an owner who cares about his employees and about his customers.  You can patronize any of them, but now you know the "whole" story.
