I have started this blog to have a space to hear from those who have been hurt by the financial crisis and the obvious mismanagement of said crisis by the current administration. Where are those countless programs that are supposed to help the middle class? I have watched my credit card payments go up and my home value fall. Yet when I tried to re-finance my house using one of the programs, I was told I needed to bring $40,000 to the table. Uh hello, if I had $40,000 laying around, I probably wouldn't be worried about any of this... I have great credit, work steady, and am responsible with my use of credit. So last month, Discover raises my minimum payment and when I questioned it, I was told-"This is to help you pay down your balance quicker." Gee, thanks for the help...
Any other stories out there like mine....
