I hate our government. Everything about it. I want Anarchy. I want people to live on their own terms. I want people to be moral because they want to not because they might go to jail if they arnt. I want no laws, no taxes, no courts, no legislation. I want total freedom. I want free trade. I want business with no rules. I want people to earn to their full potential without hitting the ceiling that the IRS puts up. I want no poverty. I want society to pull together and help eachother. I want everyone on the same team. I want neighbors to help one another. I want there to be vigilante justice. If someone commits a universally accepted crime, punish them accordingly. Punch them in the balls or kill em. It would work. I know in my town, live would be better with no government. We would all live like we do now, but in an even more extreme state of freedom. We would have town meetings and discuss and debate issues and solve problems and not have to write to our congressman, we would just do it.
Whats wrong with that?

You mean aside from everything?
I know a shit ton of people who aren't criminals simply because they fear the punishment. These people have REAL POWER. If it ever came down to anarchy they'd be the people with the gang of murderous thugs holding the entire town hostage, like in those godawful sci-fi dystopian-future movies.
The only thing that keeps their psychosis in check is the fact that there's this huge entity capable of tracking them down no matter where they went and how hard they tried to hide. That entity is the government. That entity is scary as shit, but it's there, and it's watching, and they know it's watching.
You have too much faith in people. Anarchy will never work the way you dream of it.

I hear that a lot. I have to much faith in the good of human kind. I guess I just dont see the horrible things in people that others do. I see many criminalistic acts as a form of rebellion. People seek to do that which is frowned upon simpley because it is frowned upon. If the rules were not there I belive people wouldnt bother doing those acts, because it is no longer exciting. Like the drinking age in europe, adolescents grow up in homes where having wine with dinner is the norm from like 13+...It is fact that drinking related accidents in minor in europe is microscopic compared to the united states. Its allowed, so they dont abuse it. Here in the us, its not allowed and kids rebel.....The government is like our oppressive strict controling parents. We lash out as a way to say "Fuck you, ill do what I want"....If no one was there to say you cant or thats bad or there will be consequences,...people wouldnt have the temptation to rebel.
